Front sight: I use an MGW front sight blank. The blank is machined to the proper height for your pistol at 25 yards, profiled, and pinned to the slide.
Options:
____Narrow front sight. Customer specs, minimum of .090" (tritium minimum .115")
____Serrate at 50 LPI
____Install tritium lamp, no white surround
____Install tritium lamp, white surround (please note: white surround is only available on non-serrated sights)
It is preferable to return your pistol to you so the front sight height can be verified before a tritium vial is installed.
____Machine slide for dovetail rear sight(Novak or Heinie)
Rear sight (your choice):…………………………………………………..
Options:
____Open rear notch to .140" or customer specs
____Machine Heinie or Novak sight to allow single hand manipulation
____2-Dot tritium
Barrel, Kart, Match Grade (simply the best)
Options:
____Recess cut barrel into the bushing and recrown at 45 degrees (this protects the muzzle from damage)
____Thick flange bushing (with Double D recoil spring plug)
____Standard match grade bushing
Extractor: Wilson preferred, and they are generally in spec. A spare is always a good idea.
____Spare extractor, fit and tuned
Frame options:
____High cut grip and checker at 25 LPI
____High cut grip and checker at 20 LPI
____High cut grip and serrate at 20 LPI, chevron pattern
____High cut trigger guard only without checkering (this lowers the gun in the hand the maximum amount)

____ Enlarge/Bevel magwell (with standard main spring housing)
____Enlarge/Bevel magwell with Legacy Custom main spring housing (for maximum opening without going to an add on magwell)

Special instructions (anything I left out):...................................................................................................................................... ..............................................................................................................................................
Trigger, Greider Precision
Options:
____Short
____Medium
____Long
____Three-hole
(Medium and Long solid triggers may require internal lightening to obtain the trigger pull weight you request, at additional cost)
Grip safety: McCormick give the highest grip. On many pistols, McCormick gives the best fit. Springfield pistols will require a weld-up of the frame tangs to get a proper fit with these grip safeties.
____McCormick (Carbon Steel Only)
____Other (Stainless Steel)
Thumb safety: I've tried them all, and now use Ed Brown Wide and narrow tactical safeties exclusively.
Options:
____Standard single side safety
____Ambi safety
____Narrow wide safety to customer specs
____Narrow wide ambi-safety to customer specs (each paddle)
____Install right side ambi-safety stop pin in frame
Mag catch:
Options:
____Standard length (mil-spec)
____Extended, .060" longer
____Bevel and re-checker
Grips: Whatever your choice, I need these in hand before your gun is finished so they can be fit. If you want an ambi-safety, I prefer the right side grip not to be relieved for the ambi paddle. I cut these to the proper depth myself to keep pressure off the tenon joint.
Grip screws & bushings: Slotted screws preferred. Hex heads have a nasty habit of breaking off flush with the bushing. Slim line grips require shorter screws and bushings, and I'll need to know about this right away.
____Standard
____Slim line
Slide stop: Ed Brown Hard Core preferred. This is a serrated slide stop.
Options:
____Machine off serrations and checker bottom of slide stop
Trigger job
Set trigger pull weight at ___________ lbs.
Dehorning: Two levels are available:
____Extreme carry dehorn (every sharp edge on the pistol is softened, and every effort is made to make the entire gun as hand friendly as possible. This is the correct choice for a hard use gun.)
____Standard dehorn (sharp edges are minimized, but to outward appearances the pistol looks stock.)
A word about finishes:
I offer an in-house polymer over mil-spec Parkerized finish that I have total control over. I have also found a source for hard chrome and another for traditional blue who have done good work for me, so far. There is no other finish on the market offered by anyone, at any place, no matter what they advertise, that does work to my standards. After correcting mistakes made by finishers and then having to re-ship guns back to them, over and over again, my new policy follows:
If the finish you want is not offered in-house, or isn't basic hard chrome or blue, I will be happy to ship your pistol back to you in the white, and you can then send it on to the finisher of your choice.
Finish choice:
____Polymer over Parkerizing (black)
____Hard chrome
____Hot blue
____Matte bead blast, standard on stainless pistols
____Other
